Date/Time: March 12, 19, & April 2 (Thursdays) from 3-5 pm

This is a follow up class to Brioche 101. The participants will learn to brioche knit with two colors, in the round, and will create a project of their choosing. Participants will also dip their toes into different types of Brioche stitches.

Prerequisite Skills: Experienced skills in basic brioche knitting.
Key Techniques Taught:
- Review how to brioche knit
- Brk vs. Brp stitches
- Setting up rows
- How to tell what kind of row to do.
- Reading patterns and charts.
- Decreasing and increasing stitches.
- Did I drop a stitch?
- What row am I on?
- Where am I in the pattern?
- How to detect and fix problems
- How to brioche knit in the round and with two or more colors.
- Binding off?
Materials:
- One skein of dk weight (light or dark but opposite of contrast color).
- Another skein (same weight) in a contrasting color
- Appropriate needles (see yarn label and select smallest recommended size). Needles should be double pointed and circular(knitting in the round). We will be knitting in the round. We will be creating a very dense fabric. (If you are not sure about needle size, bring extra needles). It would be helpful to have all types.
