Sheep were sheared the first week of July 2022, so wool is fresh. Not too much lanolin. 5-5.5 inches of fine crimped fleece that will spin up to a lofty yarn. Very little vm. Heavy skirting. It took 1/2 hour soaking in mild soap to get lanolin and most of any dirt out. Gorgeous fiber that I got to blend with our alpaca fiber while not reducing the quality of either. Am packing in one pound bags.
